Food truck wraps

Trucks · Trailers · Carts

A food truck is the one vehicle where the wrap is the storefront. People decide whether to get in line from thirty feet away, and they decide based on how the truck looks.

The wrap is the storefront

Every other wrap we do is advertising. A food truck wrap is the restaurant frontage — it has to say what you sell, make people hungry, and read from the back of a line at a street fair. That changes how we lay it out: big appetite imagery, the name legible at distance, and the menu readable from where people actually stand.

Designing around the window

A serving window, an awning and a pass-through eat the middle of your best panel. We design to the truck you actually have, so the logo does not end up half behind an open hatch and the menu is not hidden by the awning when it is propped up. Photos of the truck open and serving are more useful to us than photos of it closed.

Heat, grease and cleaning

Food service is hard on vinyl in a way a plumber’s van is not. Exhaust, grease and frequent scrubbing all hit the same panels. We laminate everything we print, which protects the ink from UV and makes the surface cleanable — and we will tell you which areas near vents and exhaust are worth leaving unwrapped.

Questions

Straight answers

Ask something else →
Can you wrap around the serving window and awning?

Yes, and the design should account for both. Send photos of the truck open and serving, not just closed, so nothing important sits behind a propped awning or an open hatch.

Will the vinyl hold up near the exhaust and fryer vents?

Laminated vinyl handles normal cooking heat and regular cleaning, but sustained direct heat is hard on any film. We will point out the panels near vents where we would leave the surface alone.

How do I clean a wrapped food truck?

Hand wash with mild soap and a soft cloth, rinse often, and avoid pressure-washing the edges and seams where water can get under the film. Degreaser is fine on the laminated surface if you rinse it off.

Can you put the menu on the wrap?

You can, and it looks sharp — but prices and items change. Many trucks put the brand and imagery in the wrap and keep the menu on a separate printed panel or board we can produce alongside it.

Do you wrap trailers and carts as well as trucks?

Yes. Concession trailers, coffee carts and push carts all wrap the same way, and the smaller the unit the more the graphic has to do.
